Eilish Cassidy has always been a sensible girl. She isn’t the sort to have her head turned by boys or celebrity, after all, her cousin is ruby star Sean Cassidy.
It’s on the evening of her cousin’s wedding that she meets a player she has secretly admired from afar, Bryan Leech. He’s more than she could ever have expected and Eilish can’t help but think she’s found her Prince Charming.
When the sun rises, in place of our prince is an intoxicated frog. It’s horrifying for Eilish to discover he was drunk the whole time. She’s hurt and embarrassed, but the consequences of that night mean it will be one she will never forget.

Bryan was a villain for all of five minutes. It’s clear his vast transformation is genuine and I became his cheerleader almost straight away. Although he does not remember Eilish then, he’s certainly enamoured with her now.

Cosway and Reid go together like all the great the combinations you can think of. It’s always a quirky, refreshing experience reading their perfectly imperfect, lovable characters.
