HEART OF GLASS by Nicole Jacquelyn

Release Date: 10th July 2018

Genre: Contemporary Romance

The next standalone novel from Nicole Jacquelyn about love, friendship, and forgiveness.

Henry Harris was living his dream as a staff sergeant in the Marines. When he’s killed in action, his devastated family is in for one more shock: he had a daughter they never knew about.

Morgan Riley has been raising Etta on her own, and that’s always been fine by her – until Henry’s brother Trevor arrives on her doorstep, willing to do anything to help and make up for his brother’s mistakes. Their attraction feels wrong, but Morgan can’t seem to turn him away.

Trevor is suddenly in too deep. He has always wanted a family, but Etta and Morgan come with complications. Yet as Etta brings them closer together, Trevor begins to imagine giving Morgan and Etta the life his brother never could. But he wonders if Morgan will ever learn to trust another man with her heart, especially a man whose last name is Harris.

NICOLE’S SUMMER READING LIST

This summer my kids are doing summer reading lists that are given out by our public library. At the end of the summer they turn in their little forms detailing what they’ve read, and they get different levels of prizes when they hit certain goals. To be honest, they’ve already hit all of the goals, but we’re still going to drag it out over the summer. I don’t get a prize for reading a certain number of books… but my summer reading list is longer than theirs. My first five reads of the summer are:

Savaged by RK Gleason. The cover is gorgeous, so of course I’m going to need this one in paperback. RK has a way of pulling you right into the story, and I can’t wait to see where he goes with his new The Bitter Years series. I love to read RK when I need a little break from romance.

Unconscious Hearts by Harper Sloan. Reading books by Harper Sloan is like stepping into a warm bath. Relaxing, familiar, and you really hope your kids don’t interrupt. This story is set in Las Vegas—which is cool because I’m headed there for a signing in the fall.

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han. I recently read To All the Boys I loved Before which is the first story in this series because my twelve year old wanted to read it and I wanted to make sure that it was appropriate for her to read… and now I’m dying to read the second book.

The Devil’s Daughter by Katee Robert. I love Katee’s earlier books and I’m looking forward to diving into this romantic suspense. The heroine is a former cult member turned FBI agent. Yes, please.

Wicked and the Wallflower: Bareknuckle Bastards Book 1 by Sarah MacLean. Sarah MacLean is one of my all-time favorite historical romance writers, and she’s an automatic one-click for me. I can’t wait to read this newest story about a wallflower and the bastard son of a duke.
