★RELEASE BLITZ★ A THOUSAND LETTERS BY STACI HART

sbpr-atl-rb

“Lyrical, heartbreaking, and emotionally intense, A THOUSAND LETTERS is a beautiful portrait of an undying love that deserves a second chance.”

Melanie Harlow, USA Today Bestselling Author

A Thousand Letters, an all-new emotional standalone by Staci Hart is LIVE!!!

cover-wrap-atl

Sometimes your life is split by a single decision.

I’ve spent every day of the last seven years regretting mine: he left, and I didn’t follow. A thousand letters went unanswered, my words like petals in the wind, spinning away into nothing, taking me with them.

But now he’s back.

I barely recognize the man he’s become, but I can still see a glimmer of the boy who asked me to be his forever, the boy I walked away from when I was young and afraid.

Maybe if he’d come home under better circumstances, he could speak to me without anger in his voice. Maybe if I’d said yes all those years ago, he’d look at me without the weight of rejection in his eyes. Maybe if things were different, we would have had a chance.

One regretted decision sent him away. One painful journey bought him back to me. I only wish I could keep him.

*A contemporary romance inspired by Jane Austen’s Persuasion*

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey.

From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

★ARC REVIEW★ GRIEVOUS BY J.M. DARHOWER

Buy Links: AMAZON US | AMAZON UK

Once upon a time, there was a girl who stopped believing in fairy tales after her innocence was stolen.

Morgan Myers is tired. So damn tired. Most people either push her around or brush her off, and she’s not putting up with it anymore. Determined to reclaim the life that had been stolen from her, she puts her trust in the last person she ever expected to: the notorious they call Scar. Morgan sees a side of him that few people seem to know—the man, not the myth. Lorenzo. And what she sees, she likes, a lot more than she thought she would.

But fairy tales aren’t real, as life likes to remind her. Some dragons, you just can’t slay, no matter how hard you fight them. And when hers comes back around, breathing fire, she’s forced to face some unimaginable horrors. But there’s a white knight in combat boots out there that isn’t afraid of monsters.

You see, it’s impossible to be afraid of something you see every day in the mirror.

5 of 5 stars

Even as long-time fan of J.M. Darhower I still marvel at her ability to awe and amaze. Her cunning storylines and charismatic characters never fail to capture my senses and send my imagination into overdrive. Grievous was the perfect conclusion to a sensational duet, and another notch against her tally of fantastic novels.

It’s a peculiar thing as I love and hate the anticipation she creates. I became so attached to her characters, I hated the genuine fear I felt as the situation they found themselves in became more sinister. But in the same breath, I absolutely loved the unencumbered need to continue flying through the pages.

Her writing is dark and possesses a depth that continues to reveal itself to the reader when you least expect it. She’s a writer I adore, and I relish the pure enjoyment I get from reading her novels.

★DUAL COVER REVEAL★ GOODBYE PARADISE / HELLO FOREVER BY SARINA BOWEN

GOODBYE PARADISE by Sarina Bowen

Release Date: 21st March 2017

Genre: MM Romance

Most people called it a cult. But for twenty years, Josh and Caleb called it home.
In Paradise, there is no television. No fast food. Just long hours of farm work and prayer on a dusty Wyoming ranch, and nights in a crowded bunkhouse. The boys of the Compound are kept far from the sinners’ world.

But Joshua doesn’t need temptation to sin. His whole life, he’s wanted his best friend, Caleb. By day they work side by side. Only when Josh closes his eyes at night can they be together the way he craves.

It can never be. And his survival depends on keeping his terrible desires secret.

Caleb has always protected Josh against the worst of the bullying at the Compound. But he has secrets of his own, and a plan to get away — until it all backfires.

Josh finds himself homeless in a world that doesn’t want him. Can Caleb find him in time? And will they find a place of safety, where he can admit to Josh how he really feels?

Warning: Contains a hot male/male romance, copious instances of taking the Lord’s name in vain, and love against the kitchen counter. This book was previously released under the title: In Front of God & Everyone.

Questions & Answers:

Q. How can readers be sure they didn’t read these books before?

A. The previous edition of Goodbye Paradise was titled In Front of God & Everyone. I had to change the title because the religious overtones of the old title led a few readers to believe that this was a religious book. (Spoiler: it’s not!) To prevent confusion, I’ve made the book’s description almost identical to the old one. The setting is rather unique, and I doubt that many readers will forget they’ve read an LGBTQ romance that begins in a cult…

Q. This plot reminds me of Zach’s upbringing in Keepsake. Did Josh & Caleb leave the same cult as Zach?

A. Yes! Same setting, different characters, different story. Zach didn’t trust that he was lovable. Caleb and Josh, on the other hand, are afraid to admit their love. Same origin, different journeys.

Q. Will these books be up for pre-order?

A. Yes—in early to mid March.

Q. And what about Goodreads?

A. The book will be listed at Goodreads. But it’s entirely possible that the fervent Goodreads librarians will lump the new title in with the old one. Or not? Authors can’t really control much of what happens on that platform. But we shall persevere!

Q. What else is in your pipeline?

A. On May 2, Pipe Dreams (Brooklyn Bruisers #3) will publish! You can always stay up to date with new releases and publicity contacts at http://www.sarinabowen.com//publication-schedule/

★BLOG TOUR & REVIEW★ P.I.T.A (L.A. LIAISONS, #3) BY BROOKE BLAINE

Title: P.I.T.A. (L.A. Liaisons, #3)

Author: Brooke Blaine

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Release Date: January 30, 2017

add-to-goodreads-button31

As one of the most prestigious wedding coordinators in Los Angeles, Paige Iris Traynor-Ashcroft is known for being classy, elegant, and the orchestrator of many happily-ever-afters.

But in the words of Paige herself: “What a crock of shiitake.”

Known affectionately (or not) as P.I.T.A. to those closest to her, she’s never been one to buy into the whole monogamy thing for herself. Sure, her BFFs are getting picked off by Cupid one by one, but his arrows have nothing on her semiautomatic.

Richard “Dick” Dawson does his best to live up to his name. A long-time frenemy and manwhore extraordinaire, he thrives on pushing limits, pushing up skirts—and pushing every single one of Paige’s buttons. He’s the itch she can’t scratch, and doesn’t want to. Or does she?

What happens when blazing-hot rage turns to crazy, unexplainable lust? Surely not…love? Because that would just be a total P.I.T.A.

Purchase your copy today!

Amazon US | Amazon UK

Mouthful by name, handful by nature, Paige Iris Traynor-Ashcroft is a snarky wedding coordinator who makes no apologies for going after what she wants in life. She loves her friends, her job, and Dick. Or rather loves to hate Dick.

To clarify Richard “Dick” Dawson is her oldest friend come nemesis. She’d hate to admit it, but there’s a perverse enjoyment she derives from their endless banter. The joke is soon on them when their relationship takes a booze filled turn.

The underlying sexual tension and “newfound” affection add a new layer to an increasingly complicated relationship. It was everything between awkward and sweet, and wonderfully satisfying to watch them finally find their truce.

Brooke’s L.A. Liaisons series is an infectiously funny, raucous riot of sisterhood and swoony feels. It’s a romantic comedy with style, wit, and more laughs to shake a Louboutin at.

About Brooke Blaine

You could say Brooke Blaine was a book-a-holic from the time she knew how to read; she used to tell her mother that curling up with one at 4 a.m. before elementary school was her ‘quiet time.’ Not much has changed except for the espresso I.V. pump she now carries around and the size of her onesie pajamas.

Brooke enjoys writing sassy contemporary romance, whether in the form of comedy, suspense, or erotica. The latter has scarred her conservative Southern family for life, bless their hearts.

If you’d like to get in touch with her, she’s easy to find – just keep an ear out for the Rick Astley ringtone that’s dominated her cell phone for ten years.

How To Date A Douchebag: The Failing Hours by Sara Ney
Genre: New Adult, Sports Romance, College Romance
Release Date: 31st January 2017

Zeke Daniels isn’t just a douchebag; he’s an asshole.

A total and complete jerk, Zeke keeps people at a distance. He has no interest in relationships—most assholes don’t.

Dating? Being part of a couple? Nope. Not for him.

He’s never given any thought to what he wants in a girlfriend, because he’s never had any intention of having one.

Shit, he barely has a relationship with his family, and they’re related; his own friends don’t even like him.

So why does he keep thinking about Violet DeLuca?

Sweet, quiet Violet—his opposite in every sense of the word.

The light to his dark, even her damn name sounds like rays of sunshine and happiness and shit.

And that pisses him off, too.

The clock on the wall counts the seconds, steady as the rhythm of my beating heart, which thumps wildly within my chest until the glass door to the library opens, propelled by a gust of wind.

Some new fallen leaves flutter in, the heavy doors slamming from the draft.

Along with them? Zeke Daniels.

He shuffles in, dark gray sweatpants hanging low on his hips, black Iowa Wrestling hoodie pulled up over his head, the university’s bright yellow mascot screen-printed across the chest. Backpack slung over one shoulder, black athletic flip-flops, and a pair of black sunglasses perched on the bridge of his strong nose complete the overall ensemble.

He is utterly…ridiculous.

Unapproachable.

Daunting.

His arrogance knows no bounds; I can see it in his loose gait, the exaggerated swagger, and the too-casual way he’s dragging his flip-flops across the cold, marble tile floor. It’s noisy, irritating, and completely uncalled for.

In the moment, my mind drifts to his personal life, and I theorize that he listens to heavy metal music to sooth his foul temperament, drinks his coffee black—as black as his soul—and his liquor straight up. I imagine once he’s had sex with someone, they’re never invited back. I go one step further and theorize that they’re never invited to spend the night at his place, either.

Zeke Daniels makes his way to a table at the far end of the room, near the periodicals, one out of the way with plenty of privacy.

Sets his bag down in one of the four wooden chairs. Flicks on the small study lamp. Plugs his laptop cord into the base and stands.

Turns.

Our eyes would have met then were it not for those ludicrous sunglasses. I choose the exact moment he lifts his gaze to look down at the ground. Busy myself with shuffling papers on the counter. Count to ten instead of chanting, Please don’t come over, please don’t come over, please don’t come over…

But luck isn’t on my side because he most decidedly does.

Makes his way over like a predator at a pace so deliberate, I’m convinced he’s doing it on purpose. As if he suspects I’m watching from under my long lashes, dreading his imminent arrival.

He basks in my discomfort.

The distance between us closes, his strides purposeful.

Twenty feet.

Fifteen.

Ten.

Eight.

Three.

His large hand reaches up, pushing down the hood of his sweatshirt, his fingertips pinching the earpiece of his sunglasses and pulling them off his face. My eyes follow the movements as he folds them closed, hanging them on the neckline of his hoodie.

His gaze lingers—those clear gray eyes famous around campus—and finds the shiny silver bellhop bell perched on the counter with the sign next to it that reads, Ring for help.

Ding.

The tip of his forefinger presses down on the small bell.

Ding.

He hits it again, despite me standing not three feet in front of him.

What an ass.

★ 5 of 5 STARS

My name is Eliza, and I’m hopelessly addicted to douchebaggery. Don’t try to reform me; I’m perfectly happy as I am. With every hit of this series Sara Ney cements herself as my dealer, and I, an addict to her asshole-hero peddling wares.

The Studying Hours was my first read of the year, and if you’ve read it, not so surprising 5 star read of the year also. Of course I could barely contain myself with the unfettered excitement that came with the news of Zeke’s book. In the interest full disclosure, I could not stand him. He seemed to have a chip bigger than his ego on his shoulder, and for the life of me I could not understand how anyone could tolerate him.

However post reading TFH, I won’t hear a word said against him. Yes, he it’s true; he was bigger douchebag than OZ. It’s also true; he said the wrong thing 90% of the time. He was moody and ungrateful and an all-around pain in the behind.

Beneath his douchey exterior is a kind, giving soul so hurt by his past, his default is to lash out. It’s a redemptive story that would not be made possible without our amazing heroine, Violet. She’s a quiet, gentle character whose world is thrown awry by Zeke’s entrance in it. In tutoring Zeke she teaches him more than he bargained for in more ways than one, which he makes clear he does not appreciate.

Although an unassuming character, Vi makes a huge impact on Zeke. She deserves a medal for putting up with him, but don’t be fooled, she puts him through his paces too. It’s a hilarious laugh out loud journey and I honest to god loved every minute of it. The emotional aspect was one that I did not expect, but it brought dimension to the story and further endeared me to both of them.

I’m desperately awaiting my next fix, and can only imagine what Sara Ney has up her sleeve to topple a douchebag like Zeke.

RR_synopsis

Hosting her brother’s wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning’s life. Already the family screw-up, she can’t afford to fail. And nobody (nobody!) can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring. It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the sexiest thing on two legs.

Blake Riley sees the wedding as fate’s gift to him. Jess is the maid of honor and he’s the best man? Let the games begin. So what if he’s facing a little (fine, a lot) of resistance? He just needs to convince the stubborn blonde that he’s really a good boy with a bad rap. Luckily, every professional hockey player knows that you’ve got to make an effort if you want to score.

But Jess has more pressing issues to deal with than sexy-times with a giant man-child. Such as: Will the ceremony start on time, even though someone got grandma drunk? Does glitter ever belong at a wedding? And is it wrong to murder the best man?

Warning: Do not read while sipping hot liquids. Or cold ones. Or while sitting anywhere laughter would be inappropriate. Contains hot but hilarious hockey players, puppies and a snarky pair of underwear.

Cheezus that was good! First things first, I eat my words. I was one of the few who were not instantly enamoured with Blake in his appearance in US, and because of this I had some reservations going into Good Boy. Let’s just say, by the end of the first chapter I was eating out of his hand, and would have happily rolled over and have him rub my tummy.

Blake is a professional Hockey player who plays alongside Jess’ future brother-in-law. They have a history Jess would rather forget, but unfortunately for her, Blake is like a dog with a bone and is refusing to acknowledge her less than enthusiastic response to his presence. He’s more than happy to bide his time until Jess finally sees sense, and in the meantime he loves to spend his time in her company.

It’s said company which is Jess’ bone of contention. The more time she spends with him, he harder it is to fight her insane attraction to him. They embark in a few more “mistakes” until the lady doth protest too much and she’s resigned to acknowledging a new found appreciation for man’s best friend.

Like Jess, I was absolutely bowled over by Blake. How could I have ever of not loved him? He has such a huge heart and is emotionally far more intelligent than I ever gave him credit for. His boundless support of Jess and infectious personality make him a pedigree catch. I’d be more than happy for him to make me beg, or teach me a trick or two.

Good Boy wins “Best In Show” for its unadulterated fun factor. I’ll never tire of the Bowen/Kennedy duo, and am more than salivating for their return with (Eriksson’s story), Stay.

“So, what do you do when you’re not scrubbing dishes for my brother, Iris?”

The way he said my name made my pores tingle again. It felt luxurious somehow, like a caress. “I talk to my cat. I read. I wander.” Talk to Bowie.

“You wander?”

“Yeah, I like to choose a starting point and let my feet lead the way.”

He looked displeased hearing this. “Only during the day, I hope.”

Huh. Was he worried about me? Nah, he was just being a copper. Nosy. I shrugged.

“Sometimes at night. I’m good at being invisible though, so I rarely run into trouble.”

His displeasure increased. “How often is rarely?”

I tilted my head. “Why do you care?”

His expression turned serious. “A tiny little thing like you wandering around in the dark is a recipe for trouble. Do you realise how easy it’d be for someone to just pluck you up off the street and do whatever they wanted?”

Ha! That was a laugh. The street was my home. I knew how to survive there, and I’d done fine so far. “Just because I’m little doesn’t mean I’m not tough. Let some fucker try to pluck me up. It wouldn’t end well for him.” I stabbed my forked into the empty plate with force to emphasise my point.

For some reason the action made him smile again, but this time there was a spark of calculation behind his eyes. “So, if I were to grab you right now, push you up against that wall,” he paused and gestured to the wall by the door, “you’d be able to fend me off?”

I swallowed. Not surprisingly, that visual wasn’t as scary to me as it should’ve been. Instead my gut twisted with anticipation. Do it.

Do it.

I nodded casually. “Sure.”

“Let’s try it, then.” He moved to get up and suddenly my courage fled.

I forced a laugh. “No, thanks.”

He shot me a wry look. “No?”

“No.”

“So, you’re all talk then.” He folded his arms, pleased with himself, and it made me want to punch him. I’d never been good at backing away from a challenge.

I grit my teeth. “Fine.”

His gaze flicked to my mine, his pupils dilating. I didn’t care to ponder what that meant. Without another word, he advanced on me. My heart hammered and I was too fascinated to react when he lifted me up off my chair, carried me across the room, and slammed my back into the wall. I exhaled choppily when he used one hand to grip my neck and the other to hold me down. My chest rose and fell as I looked up at him, entirely too engrossed.

What was he going to do next? I wriggled my hips, though not to break free. He made a curious noise in the back of his throat. I tilted my head. He looked pissed. Huh.

Iris,” he practically growled.

“Y-yes?”

“You aren’t doing anything.”

“Should I be?”

His hand on my neck loosened. “I just physically assaulted you and you haven’t lifted a finger to stop me.”

“Sorry.”

He let out a frustrated sigh. “Don’t fucking apologise. Fight back.”

Fight back.

Right. It was a little hard to do that when all I wanted was for him to tear off my clothes and do very, very bad things to me. But I had to prove a point. I had to show him I could protect myself. Summoning my resolve, I twisted in his hold and tried to get my leg up so I could knee him in the balls. Unfortunately, his entire body was pressed into mine, preventing all movement.

I continued twisting, testing his strength, but I couldn’t find a single weak spot. In the end, I let out a frustrated sigh and relented.

“Fine. You win. Maybe I won’t go wandering at night anymore.”

“I’m not trying to be a dickhead. I’m just trying to make you more aware of the dangers,” he said, releasing me and taking a step back.

No, don’t go.

I’d been warm with him on me. Warmer than I’d been in a very long time.

I cleared my throat. “Job well done.”

He seemed conflicted, his eyes wandering over me and then to his watch. He swore under his breath. “I have to go.”

“Okay.”

He eyed me seriously. “Think about what I said, yeah? Don’t have me worrying.”

I only nodded and then he left, a question hanging in the air.

He hardly even knew me, so why would he worry?

Mr. Ean only wanted to help Kaelyn. Patch her up and show her she was worth so much more than she was giving herself. He didn’t mean to fall in love with a student. It’s wrong, he knows it, but he can’t help himself around her. Not when her pain feels like his.
